Hi!
I just wanted to know if going to gym and working out normally is fine during mensturation. My aunt always used to stop from running on a tredmill during my first three days of mensturation.

Going to the gym is one of the best things you can do. It will help with the bloating, crankiness, cramps. It sucks when you first get there, but once you get going you'll feel a whole lot better.

It is actually good to workout, it would take your mind off of the menstrual cramps.

I had them BAD when I first started. I realized while I was busy doing things that I would hardly notice the cramps, but when I didn't do a lot of physical activity it would kill me and I'd end up on the couch crying because of the pain.

So its perfectly fine to do so.

there's nothing wrong doing it, I've read that if you do continue with working out while menstruating could shorten the time you are and make it a lot less painful. So that would be good. although most of us don't feel like going.

I don't see anything wrong with it. I do it all the time. If I quit going to the gym for 3 days....I wouldn't go back! lol. Seriously it's up to you and how comfortable you feel.
