I have been with my partner for almost two years. I have a daughter from a previous relationship. In the space of a year, I have suffered two miscarriages, the first one, tests showed the baby had Downs Syndrome, the second one which happened a month ago, was just like having a period. We have had tests done to see if either one has a defficiency, but we are both fine. We would really like to have a baby of our own, can anyone help with ideas of conceiving.

ive had a miscarriage and its a horrible horrible thing. theres no answers why, it just happens but you will carry your partners baby when the time is right. im 20 weeks pregnant so i know how stressful it can be at the start of the pregnancy wondering will i lose this baby too. the only advice i can offer is to try not to worry although its hard and to believe in your pregnancy, think positively.

i really do wish you the best of luck xxx

Either the baby wasn't viable or the mother's body wasn't able to complete the pregnancy.

I was told by my OBGYN many years ago that most women have multiple miscarriages during their lifetimes but are unaware of them because they happen so soon into a pregnancy. I thought about it and found there were a few times that my period did not account fully for the bleeding and pain I experienced.
I hope that you are not dealing with the loss of an unborn child, but if you are, take comfort in the knowledge that this was natures way. Miscarriage doesn't mean any future pregnancy will fail. Keep trying.

out of every 5 eggs thast actually fertalise in a normal pregnancy only 1 makes it to implantation and results in a baby.
early misscarriage is very common... probably alot more common than people realise, many early miscarriages are mistaken for a late period.
if you think about it the cells of an early embryo have to multiply in a certain way.... if they do not go the way nature intended then a misscarriage usually is the result.
take follic acid for at least 3 months before you try and convieve and avoid soft cheese and things like under cooked eggs. shell fish should also be avoided. make sure your fit and healthy and then hope for the best.

good luck with your journey..... and may the outcome be all you want it to be.

I am so sorry that this has happened to u but as hard as it is u should try and see it that it wasnt meant to be with the first 2 due to complications that may not even have been spotted and your gift will be a beautiful baby that is perfect in every way.
The first 2 just wasnt meant to be for reasons that no one can explain but relax(I know thats hard) and enjoy and everything should work out fine.
Good luck and take care.

Why is the sky blue?

There is no 1 reason why they happen, unfortunately it does just happen, and most importnatly, no-one is to blame. Sometimes the human body senses that the fetus isnt developing properly and so rids it. Keep trying, Im sure you will be blessed with a presence of tiny feet when the time is right.

I have heard that a miscarriage is natures way of ending a bad pregnancy.........something wrong with the baby. As upsetting as it is, if the above it true, then i guess it could be a blessing in disguise.

Things happen for a reason usually because there is something wrong with the child nature takes it course. Pray about it, it will happen.

-Lower hormones.
-Baby's growth stops.
-Uterus lining is not thick enough from hormones so baby sheds off during your period(in the early stage)..maybe one month.
There's alot of reasons.
