We got into a huge fight, I hit him with a pillow and he called 911 (I assume to get me into trouble, but the opposite happened, the cops had been there too many times before, they knew him for the abusive jerk he was). He was a jerk when we broke up, just like when we were together.

It became meant to be, so we only walked away and have been given on with our lives, you already know, despite comes alongside, and what you're making of all of it. loosen up, be mushy, you do in no way "very own" someone, no longer even married to them. people are not possessions, lol, nevertheless it sort of feels some adult men nonetheless keep on with those extra troglydytic techniques!

Pulled his finger out, got a haircut, had a shave, pretended he was suddenly a changed man in looks and attitude. Bit late for me though, I'd moved on.

after 20 yrs of being together we had talked about it and had a separation first

I don't know...I changed my phone number and eventually moved so he could never contact me again.
7 years later and despite the fact that he is married now, he still calls my best friend to ask about me.
