one english word about room?

hi, i m a foreigner who is sutdying English.
it must be easy to u as a native.

room for one person is "single room"
for 2 persons is "twin room"
and what is called 'room for 3, 4... people' in america?

bedroom is the word.

example:

bedroom for 2
bedroom for 4
my bedroom
big bedroom
huge bedroom

A room for 3-4 people is usually called a family room.

If you mean rooms to rent a good word is apartment. In that case we usually cound the bedrooms in the apartment (one-bedroom, two-bedroom, three-bedroom, etc).

If it's at a school it might be dorm or dormatory room, then a dorm for three people is called a triple (at least it was when I went to college).

For 4, just say a room for 4.
