I would be astonished that something was able to take down every server in the world. Then I would be paranoid of some virus that could get into my computer once the internet was back up. I would check my firewall (or get one), and get a good antivirus program.

As long as it wasnt a sunday, deal with it i guess. Actually that happened a week ago, well the power went out, without power on has no internet, etc.
and contrary to belief I did not go running and screaming into on-coming traffic!

I'd eat a lot of turkish delight then run around a bit, then stop and think
after that I'd go to the post office and share a joke with the man there, then buy a sausage roll and eat it slowly.
then I'd go home and sit down for ten minutes, and maybe sleep.

Personally, I wouldn't notice. I'm hardly on this thing, I'm usually working or spending time with my children. But I also believe that the world itself would collapse. There would be panic widespread throughout each country as they believe that the internet itself has been turned off. It would be wonderful to see the shear panic.

I would go to the library to do the research that I usually do online...as for chat room replacement...I guess I would pass notes to the person who always hogs the pencil sharpener.
