The average woman's circle is 28 days. You start counting from the first day of menstruation. Ovutation start on the 14th day of the circle (averagely). The safe period for a woman is calculated 10 days from the day of menstruation and from the 19th day to the next menstruation. the 8days interval is the fertile period for a woman i.e 4days before ovulation and 4days after ovulation.
