This show is supposed to find the next great music star but I find it strange that Jennifer Hudson the most successfull of these people didn't win. She gets an Oscar whatever happened to whoever won that season or really any other season for that matter?

I don't take it seriously at all since they let that Antonella chick get as far as she did. And I disagree with your opinion that Jennifer Hudson is the most successful of the people who didn't win.

timing and judgement. when you audition for a show you pick a song that should be very good to create a very good impression. AI is a like a series of shows. at one time you may be singing a very good song and the crowd loves you and sooner or later another one does. but it doesnt mean that you are not good, its a contest. and more specifically AI is a popularity contest. jen hudson was given a break for dreamgirls and she did great. although she lost to someone else at some other contests. if bo bice would appear in a movie too i think he would do good as well and some people would say he should have won instead of ms. underwood.

It is a music contest and not an acting contest, the winners are pulling down grammy, country music awards, people's choice awards and more importantly gold and platinum albums. Hudson has none of these yet.
