my husband's birthday is this week and i was damn confused as what to buy for him. He is really picky on the stuff such as tech stuff impresses him but he is specific of what he wants. And that makes it a tough choice for me. I went ahead and bought Norelco 8160XLCC Speed-XL Electric Shaver for him which costs $128.87. Is this a good choice for the price i bought? Do you think i should buy something else incase he doesnt like this as a gift? If yes, what?

This is the 2nd b'day i am going to celebrate with him and want to make it real special. Do you have any ideas how to make it super special for him?

Your help would be really appreciated!

Thanks

Yeah that looks like a good razor. I bought a razor for my b/f for his b-day before, similar to the one you got. His requirement was that it had the 3 round razor heads and water resistant so he can clean it.

You could pick up something small for him. Does he have a favorite treat like candy or chocolate that he likes?

You really don't have to spend a lot to show your love. You could get a digital pic of the two of you printed and framed for his desk at work, or for his dresser.

i have to agree with NJ guy. why buy him an electrical grooming appliance and pass it off as a wonderful gift? something like a razor is a very personal thing and should be purchased out of neccesity. Nothing says i love you like an appliance!!! Go for something thoughtful, nothing says it better than a special evening, together, and if you are on a budget its not a problem, together time is whats important, a restaurant is all well and good, but a picnic of homemade goodies is even better, breads & cheeses, strawberries & cream, have a romantic evening, all for him, music & candles, run him a bath, the possibilities are endless and i'm sure a few hours spent like this will be really appreciated. Good luck

Nice gift If he needs it .
Along with it give him some love coupons .
Dinner , massage , special bedroom time .
That he can use on and with you .
One maybe a trim on you with the new shaver you set the limit that he can do their .
Hope he and you have a great time !

depends on what he is using to shave w/right now. if he is using a razor, then it isn't a good gift. blade is much better shave and his face is used to it. BIG difference.

I saw that another answer was to pimp yourself out. that isn't ever a bad idea for a guy. that will work. but, what about some get out of jail free coupons. if you are pissed and he gives a coupon, you have to let it go.

tickets to his favorite sports team next game? Jersey of his fav player -

bottom line - you want it special. think like him, what is he thinking about? zero in on that stuff.

Great gift idea and the first thing he should shave is your p u s s y unless you already do. In that case just put some birthday cake on it, put a candle on it and let him have his cake and eat it too. Have fun.

Electric shavers are either good, or not good, depending on the constitution of the beard, but the more they cost, the better they can be. Possibly let him exchange it and get one her really likes if it isn't right. And cake, cake is always good on your birthday.

Yick. I wouldnt like the idea of a shaver for 2nd birthday together--unless he's been asking for one. Remember when you were dating and he was the center of your world...make him feel like that again. and yes, cake is always good.

They always say it is not the gift but the thought behind it. I think anything for $128 is a gift anyone should appreciate.

You purchased an electric razor?
Turn this around -- for your birthday, would you like a toaster or a blender?

Get yourself a very revealing teddy and make that his other present with you in it. If he didn't like the razor he will have other things to think about.
