Well, for the most part, our compatible mates are suppose to be the other Air signs Aquarius and Gemini, Gemini being the most compatible, and Also Leo, Sagittarius and Taurus.
But, I think you should know your taste in men and what personality you like. Really, astrology is just a fun guessing game, and you should you may find a person who it says may not be your compatible mate, but you never know.
Anyway, I took at least two test that ask you about your type of mate, and they compare all your answers up then tell you what sign would suite your perspective. It seems so far, that I should pursue a Leo, and I do love Leos. The reason is probably because I'm dependent, and love a person more independent, more decisive, and more aggressive than I am. That's why I also love Scorpios, and other signs that have those traits. I find good friendships with Gemini and Aquarius, even Libra, but don't think I can date them, because they can be aloof and unfaithful, also Sagittarius too, don't think I could date one. Libras have a sense of loyalty, so I'd could be with the right Libra.
Just look up differently compatibilities and see what you may like, also, you should find out your moon and rising sign. They too represent you.

It depends on a full natal chart, and what is called synastry between you and your prospective partner, where birth charts are compared.
Each sign brings a different energy. Comparing just sun signs is an okay method, but it's like the vanilla ice cream of Astrology.
Libra is an air sign and so will generally get along on an intellectual level with Aquarius, and Gemini.
Aries is your opposite so there will be a lot of energy, lots of arguments, but they will typically seem intriguing.
Capricorn is a square with Libra, so there will be lots of difficulties, but if you work on the problems you will learna lot fast.
Really you need to look at sun signs, moon suns, and venus and mars, and how each of them shake out.
Go out and buy Linda Goodman's sun Signs, or her Sun and Moon signs for Lovers in any old book store, or an occult / pagan book store.
They are the standard for beginners to work with. From there, go to Zolar's books. After completing that, you'll know what to look for, based on your interests.
There is a book out there, the Only Astrology Book you'll Ever Need (it claims, and it lies) you also need a thing called an Ephemeris, a table of signs.

Libra here too for the most awesome sex date a Taurus. Serious relationship we like Leo Gemini Sagittarius and Aquarius. Actually I think we try to get along with everyone the scales have to balance or our world is wrong until it does. Good Luck
