Build inbound links to your website.
Most of the directories online charge a one time fee to review your site and add it to their index. Here are three of my favorites:
http://www.avivadirectory.com/cgi-bin/affiliates/clickthru.cgi?id=kahmer
http://www.kahmer.com
http://www.joeant.com
The more inbound links to your site, the better you will rank
with Yahoo / Google / MSN.
Also work on your meta tags. Here is an
article on how they work: http://www.richkahmer.com/meta-tags.html

Hi,
If you have a web site what is your URL?
On your Web site, do you have a form where people can sign up for a newsletter or course?
It usually asks for a first name and a e-mail address. Offer something in exchange for their e-mail address.
Once you get the e-mail addresses, you then need an auto-responder to send out info about your product. This can be set up so you send a e-mail periodically. Depending on what you are marketing, it may take 7 or more e-mails to make a sale.
Kindest Personal Regards,
Walt Brown

P.S. You Web site software should contain the details on how to set up the form and create the auto-responder e-mails.
P.P.S. If your Web site building software cannot do this you are wasting your time and you need to get a better Web site builder.

Small Business Marketing Strategy: Target the up-and-coming search engines
While Google still rules the roost when it comes to Internet search engines, and Yahoo is firmly entrenched in second spot, a number of new start-ups are hoping to give them a run for their money. And a good small business marketing strategy would be to check them out and see how you can make them work for your site!
Some of the new up-and-comers include:
Powerset : A "natural language" search engine
Hakia : A "meaning-based" search engine
Wikia : A "community-based" search engine
ChaCha : A "social networking-based" search engine
Snap : A search engine that offers visual previews
It's a smart small business marketing strategy to continue optimizing for the Google, Yahoo, and MSN search engines as they are by far and away the most popular -- but niche search engines could provide new opportunities to reach your market. Be sure to check them out!

You're not going to get free leads on the net unless you generate them yourself somehow. IF you are looking for a free ride and expect to make alot of money, you have another thing coming. My advice to you is to take your product offline and market it in your hometown since you don't wat to spend money on advertising...
