- 3(a - 3b) - 2(b - 3a) + a - b amplify brackets via multiplying numbers in front of brackets with those interior - 3a + 9b - 2b + 6a + a - b upload like words (those with purely a, or purely b) 4a + 6b you are able to element this, although this is kinda opposite of your problem 2(2a + 3b)

= a + 11b
