Clearly a teaching of Christ is to love your neighbour (metpahoric neighbour) as yourself. The teaching of Christianity is that we are 'all' equal in God's eyes - so obviously worshiper of that God must copy His example of self-sacrificing 'love.' No religious bashing - this is not a bible discussion really, but a question of the justification of the KKK. What is/was the thinking of such so-called 'Christians?'

Yes BYAKUYA not 'true' Christianity if they did not live by its teachings. They 'claimed' Christianity but their actions were pure evil.

Unfortunately, most people do not use religion to inform their beliefs. The start with their beliefs and try to justify them using a religion.
Historically, many have tried to excuse their evil actions by misquoting scripture, from the Bible, the Koran, or the Torah or Talmud. Even now, some leaders in America and Iraq, excuse their blood thirsty actions by misquoting, or misinterpreting the Koran and the Bible.
The world would be a much more peaceful place if people would allow the Bible to inform their beliefs rather than using it to justify their sin.
Hope this helps,
Good luck!
By the way, Hitler edited a Nazi version of the Bible for Germany when he was in power. Not because he ever thought of himself as a Christian, but because he was manipulating the church in Germany. Many members of neo-Nazi groups now are involved in similar manipulations.

The KKK was just a 'front" for white guys who wanted to get together and inflict pain and suffering on innocent black people...they 'pretended' to be christian so that it didn't look exactly like it was... bigotry and hatred... Chrstianity definately does not condone this... yet all over history it was used as a cover for justification (I'm from South Africa and apartheid is an excellent example of that)... they could not be real christian's or if they had read their bible properly they would know that it doesn't agree with them! Also the fact they hid behind hoods showed they knew it was wrong...but they did it anyway!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
