since forever i was prone to earring infections. Even if i wear those surgical post earring i got infections now and then (although not as severel.
6 months a go i got my ears re-pierced as they closed up over a period where i took out my earrings for a few months due to infections.
Now the same thing is happening again!
one of my ears is closed up at the back. i can insert the earring in halfway from the front but can't seem to find the hole to bring in out through the back! . if i push it in more it hurts, bleeds and furthermore just keeps damaging my earlobes. From the back there is a multiple of little scar tissues that have just become one scar tissue. i just can't navigate it through!

Do i have to wait (and if so how long) till the hole closes up completely from the front as well? or can i get them pierced again?
or anyother ear care advice would be appreciated!

You really should just take out your earrings and let them heal. Make sure to clean them with hydrogen peroxide, alcohol, even the ear piercing care solution they give you works really well. Having repierced them a few times, you built up scar tissue there. I wouldn't try to get them pierced again seeing as you are prone to infection in that area. It may even be possible to develop keloids from them. Keloids are a thick scar resulting from excessive growth of fibrous tissue. Keloids do not go away, even if surgically removed they might just end up redeveloping. Try images.yahoo.com for keloids.

Long explanation short, let them heal and do not try to repierce over the scar tissue again.

keep the earing in even if its infected, keep cleaning it, put a tsp of rock salt in a small shot glass with water, dip a cotton stick in it and clean the peircing front and back many times a day, make a fresh solution daily, use a sleeper not a stud, so u can twist the earing, with a stud u cant,i had a stud in my traggis, the floppy bit near the earhole ,this was infected for 4mths and till i put a sleeper in and cleaned it with the solution it finally healed, good luck it will take a few weeks, just dont stop cleaning it, till healed then still do it once daily for a few mths and to make that hole just hold your breath and push it through, ive done it heaps, ive even peirced my own ears 3 times, ive got 4 rings in each ear, i love em and remember if u get a temperature or bad earpain see the dr in case u need antibiotics

You need to be absolutely clean with your earrings if you're prone to infection, including using alcohol swabs and antibacterial ointment on a regular basis. Also, it sounds like you may be allergic to the metals in your earrings. Try switching to niobium earrings next time you try this and see if it makes a difference.

you have to take out your earings and wait till the holes close up, then you need to get them properly cleaned, you shouldn't get them re-pierced for atleast 2 or 3 more years

this happened to my sis
