Phone up some local charity shops near to you, most of them will send somebody to collect, usually you just leave them out on your doorstep for them. Where I live they collect, especially cancer research.

Go to Craigslist and make a post titled something like "Free Kitchen Ware - must pick up" describe what you have and someone will want it. I don't know how popular it is where you are, but I went and looked and you do have a craigslist in Leeds in the UK. Craigslist is a free information sharing site. You'll see once you get there that there is plenty of information being shared about all different types of topics. Everything from yard sales to singles looking for love, to Trades bartered. Go on and poke around, it's addictive. Here's the link of where you want to go.

Good luck!

Not sure what charity is available where you are. But on yahoogroups.com if you go there and type in freecycle and your towns name or a big town near you it comes up with freecycle groups, you post what you have to give away on there for free, people respond and will them come and pick up the stuff. Its great, I have gotten rid of so many many things on there. You can also post wanted or needed items on there and find them for free as well. If you need help let me know and I will find some groups in your area. Good Luck!

Goodwill, Salvation Army, Thrift Stores....many will even give you a form so you can claim it as a charity for your taxes. I live in the mid west & we have people who drive around checking trash the night before pick up for items they may want. Also you could offer it to a person who is having a garage sale to sell for their own profit. Salvation Army will pick it up if it is enough for the truck to come out, just call & schedule a pick up.
Or you could always advertise it for free on www.craigslist.com for your city. You will get a great response for something for free. You may also want to contact a church to pick it up to give it someone who really needs it.

Go to www.freecycle.org and see if there is a freecycle group in your area. This is a group where you advertise your stuff, for free, and do not charge any money for it. You usually request the collector picks it up at your convenience. The whole point of freecycle is to keep usable stuff out of landfill and you get to feel good for blessing someone else with something they need.

o.k this is the best thing to do . go to a website called 'freecycle' it is brilliant for getting rid of unwanted things that are too good for the tip . there will be a registration section for you local area and then you can offer it free . you then get emails and you can choose the recipient. they then collect from you and you are happy that it has gone to a good home . it works both ways if you want something aswell.

You could ask the neighbors if they want it or you could call the Salvation Army. Goodwill does not pick up. You could also check the phone book for charity places and see if there is someone that's willing to come and pick it up.

One really great place that you can know will take care of it would be GoodWill. There are normally GoodWill buildings in every town, and if you look it up online, at:
http://www.goodwill.org/page/guest/about
Then it should tell you if you have any GoodWill buildings near you. If not, the Salvation Army is the place to go, at:
http://www1.salvationarmy.org/ihq/www_sa.nsf
I hope that helps!

You can call your local Goodwill or Salvation Army and just tell them you have boxes.......Usually I put them at the curb and they come get them. OR you can go to ANY Goodwill box and place them in there, gently of course. Or you can go to FREECYCLE.ORG and advertise it there....As a free item. BUT I would just give them to Goodwill.....Even place them outside of a Goodwill store if you have one nearby. Set them at the door....Or take them in....I am sure lots of people can use these items....
