While I would think many men will say you are wrong by not masturbating, I think I'll play the devils' advocate & say it is healthy not to masturbate.

Many primate species masturbate, both males and females: we are just another primate species that evolved to have thinner body hair, weaker muscles (compared with any of the other great apes) and higher intelligence. In some cultures and religions, it is not approved of, but the vast majority of psychologists and psychiatrists regard it as being quite normal. About 90% of human males, and about a third of that percentage of females are estimated to masturbate.

Its right there in front of you for the taking, how could you ignore the basic urge to touch it? I don't see how it could be a healthy sign to ignore all the healthy benefits of masturbation?
And besides, it feels good!

Well, for a guy, millions of sperm are created every 6 hours. Although it is frowned upon in the religious community, it does not create any physical symptoms. It is actually better if you do release your sperm maybe once or twice a week. Again, people may see it as disgusting... but they also see farts as disgusting. And that's just a regular human function.

The problem isn't about being healthy or unhealthy but looking at the reasons why you're not wan.king. Sometimes low lust is depending from low testosterone working around and that isn't normal, especially for young guys!

i don't what u mean by healthy sign, but it's normal for females and males at any age- nothing unhealthy about doing it or not, it can relieve stress and give your heart a workout- most people pleasure themself but not everyone, it's a personal choice

I know it's not healthy is you do it excessively. I've been trying to stop for about a year now and I don't understand why I can't. I don't like doing it because every time I'm done I get a heavy dosage of guilt.

I think it is up to the person. I don't think it is healthy we all need a stress relief.

I think it is better for someone's physical and emotional well-being to do it at least occasionally as it helps to relieve tension if nothing else

No. Yes. It's a personal choice is all. Why would it matter?
