Pretty decent.

Probably about as functional.

I've got 32-bit Vista Home Premium on my new laptop - so far it's actually not nearly as bad as I thought.

Of course I uninstalled all the manufacturers garbage, and cleaned up Vista so I just have some bamboo in the background, the clear title bar at the top of the windows tinted slightly green so it almost disappears completely against the background, the taskbar on autohide, and only a handful of necessary icons (Moog and ARP softsynths primarily). The 3d window effect is neat, though not totally necessary - but it will let you click out to your desktop and minimize everything. You actually get little previews of the windows when you move your mouse over one that is minimized - good for downloads.

Everyone that has looked at it has said the same thing 'it looks like a mac' lol

Is that a theme or something or something that came with alienware? I don't know, your desktop obviously doesn't have transparency so that's point off.
