Xbox 360 Or PS3 ???

You should be buying the 360.
The 360 has a lot of games and the second generation of 360 games have already started to shoe up for example Gears of war.
PS3 is new on the block and has not introduced any game that the 360 cannot run.
For now take the 360 and after a year when real good games for PS3 come out then buy it. It will also become cheaper by the time you buy.

Ok, first and foremost, we cannot answer this question for you. Needs and gadget selection vary from gamer to gamer. Now, to help you out a little bit, here are a few things to consider before taking the plunge.

The PS3 will almost always have more titles available. It might not be that obvious now but wait until the PS3 picks up speed and you'll see new titles flying left and right. Now, you might consider the hefty pricetag on the PS3. There are two ways of looking at this. 1st, you can see the PS3 as a very expensive gaming console or 2nd, you might see it as a very cheap blu ray disc player that also allows you to play games. Also, you might want to consider buying the PS3 if you currently have a PSP because there are PSP downloads exclusively available to PS3 owners only.

Now, on to the Xbox360. The 360 also has its share of nice games ergo a lot less in number than what you'll see for the PS3 but (and this is a very big BUT) there are very nice games that are exclusive to the Xbox system (ie Halo) that you might want to consider as well. Also, if you ahve a nifty network set up in your house and you're currently using the Windows OS (big bonus if it's Vista) then you might wanna save a few bucks by buying the 360. There are a lot of ways to enjoy your 360 using a Windows environment. Here is where having a Media Center OS or Vita Home Premium/Ultimate really pays off.

So, feel it out first. Look at the stuff you currently have and weigh you options. Personally, I've shelled out serious dough to buy the PS3 because I'm a Mac person and I also have a PSP. Honestly, I like the PS3 but it's always a preference that other people might not agree with. Hope this helps bud.

Although the xbox 360 might be more powerful (I haven't checked it's specs against the ps3) than the ps3, playstation always had and always will have better games then the 360. Providing that gates doesn't go and decide to buy the rights to have the same games released for the 360.

none of these guys know what there talking about!! xbox 360 all the way! what does the ps3 have that the 360 does'nt do better? Graphics, you say? i have'nt seen a prettier game than gears of war on any console! did i hear an uneducated murmur about better games? gears of war, rainbow six vegas, graw 1 and 2, viva pinata and the list goes on!! the ps3 has... um... resistance fall of man, i guess?
this is'nt even factoring the awesomeness of xbox live, against watever the hell the ps3 is supposed to have. take it from a video game nerd, man! don't buy that grill shaped, $600, piece of crap!!!

Well gotta have a HDTV than, maybe both. PS2 really defined the value of 2. they defnetly can do the 3rd. MIcrosoft dont realy do hardware, its not called Microhard its soft....so if $$ than xobox if no $$ problem than ps3 ....if helal money than both and a pizza.

They both can rise up to a gamers standards, but if i'd have to pick it would be the ps3.
