my grandmother thinx, as i m a sikh n in a sikh school..i should take punjabi...i want to take hindi...now i asked them to see my report card of 9th and then come to a conclusion...i m worried to get equal marks in both the subjects..as my grandmom is good in punjabi n she only teaches me ..she wants me to take that...n even my mom wants the same...my pops thinx i should do whatever i want but ladies insist that they can give better conclusions...this is getting doubley troubley...HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, you are in big trouble. I know how difficult it is to take dicison while rejecting parent's suggestion.
If you want to take Hindi, take it. Your decision is right, because it is our National language. Afterall, you are the student, not your grandma and mom. They can only teach you, but the study is your work.

Do both, take 1 in school and take the other at home, i learnt punjabi and am happy that I did it is really helpful, there is no reason why you cannot learn both languages, especially since your family can teach you punjjabi take hindi in school and explain to them that this will be very helpful for you in your career and life in the future.

Choose the language that you could cope it.Your own choice is the most important.Your parents choice can be only a option and not your decision.
