Working in the Philippines would mean adding to manpower and contributing to tax, as simple as that. But personally, the biggest contribution I make is NOT LITTERING. I think by doing that, I help make a cleaner, greener, more suitable habitat for all of us :)

If the Filipino can get work abroad he/she would contribute much more to the economy of the Philippines. After all, it is well known that the OFW is the biggest dollar earner that is exported by the Philippines.
The OFW even contributes to creating work in the Philippines, e.g. buying taxis/jeepneys, building homes/apartments, paying for education/medical, buying groceries/white goods/clothing/toys/electronics. Many different sectors benefit by the OFW sending money home.
What would be the use of more manpower (if there are no jobs), paying local taxes (with very little income), perserverance (in looking for non-existent work). If the Filipino can get work abroad he/she would contribute much more to the economy of the Philippines.

Sorry Lushbabe4u I felt that a Filipino working overseas and sending money home would be making a bigger contribution.

what does a youth have? time, energy to persevere and work hard, the skills, abilities, strengths that couldn't even be surpassed by other nationalities and intelligence of course! as long as the government in turn does its responsibility in supporting all these so called contributions.
