TN govt planned to create satellite city outside chennai to ease the traffic and congestion in the city. But, for some reasons PMK chief Ramadoss blocked that move. Do you know why he blocked that move?
TN govt dropped satellite city proposal because of Ramadoss. I am curious to know what really happened. Ofcourse, none of us will ever know what "really" happened in politics. At least, I want to hear what others know.
IMHO, satellite city is a wonderful idea. Any sane person would have encouraged it.

The background reason that I came to know is:
"Many big political wigs from PMK, DMK and ADMK have got land in that region. They don't want their land to be sold for a reasonable amount. There is no public care at all. Just PMK is trying to use the people living in that region as a tool to fulfill their desires".
Not only Satellite city; what about Airport expansion? .. PMK will not allow Chennai / Tamilnadu to develop man.
The main problem - there is no majority rule. DMK does not have any other go except to shake its head to whatever PMK or congress says.
A part of the crime is also done by us - voters in Tamilnadu. Had we provided a majority vote to any party whether it is ADMK or DMK, they would have been able to carry their duties. The same thing applies in the center too. We should not repeat this mistake again.
