Or maybe they just don't get it.

You feel like people hate you BECAUSE you are depressed. You are looking at the world through a depressive filter and so will be prone to negative thoughts like this one. Try to recognise what is reality and what is your depression talking. Then work on ignoring/discrediting your depressive thoughts. That should help you get better. Believe me I have been there

Aloha from Down Unda!

Yep, you're 100% right. Depressed people are, indeed, depressing. Would you wanna pet a mangy dog?

It's why health is so important. It's healthy to stay away from sick people! That's why I'm no doctor & still can play golf on Wednesday's, if I wanted to play golf. [I'd just as soon go to the club, drink beer, smoke cigarettes & play the slots!]

We 'get it'. We just don't want it.

Get well soon! Best wishes ~
