Scientists all agree that the earth is forever changing, especially the climate, so is it not possible that we are simply reaching that point when the earth naturally changes again! I know humans are doing some pretty appauling stuff that is no doubt damaging (cutting down all the trees for one) but come on, this is a planet! we are not that important or powerful!

One person is not important or powerful.

5 billion, are.

One bacterium. Nothing. Small.

Put one in a milk jug, and leave it for a month. The milk goes sour.

One virus. Necrotizing Fasciitis. Nothing.

Leave it in your body for a month, you are dead. Look it up. Scary.

Climate change happens. We are making it happen faster.

Greenhouse gases are accelerating the melt of ice at the caps. The ice melts faster, because more heat is trapped in the atmosphere, because Co2 holds in infrared more.

As the ice melts, the albedo of the earth changes, meaning it relfects light out into space less. Thus more melting, faster change, more ocean and rock in greenland exposed, warmer temperature.

By 2035, most of the world will have cities either flooded or underwater on the coasts. Seriously.

I blame the vegetarians.... it's been scientifically proved that the 'gas' passed from herbivorous animals has a detrimental effect on the ozone layer. The 'vegesaurus' dinosaurs would have done the same thing, but obviously on a grander scale. So, who's up for a nice juicy steak then? It's for the good of the planet, you know...

Climate changes are a normal progression. Nature has her own way of switching things up.
