the milkyway galaxy is about a hundred thousand light years across. this means that if you could travel at the speed of light from one end of the galaxy to the other it would take you a hundred thousand years to do it. we live about two thirds of the way out from the center of the milkyway. our galaxy is an average size galaxy. there are over a hundred billion galaxies in the universe!!!!!! hope this helps!!!!!!

Which galaxy? If you mean the Milky Way, it's about 80,000 - 100,000 light years in diameter.

not quite sure but in turms of the universe its relitively small..
think of the ball on a pen verses the earth maybe?

but yah the galaxy isnt that big.

The word big is not enough because it is infinite unlimited.
