Good question, The future has always had a very special place in philosophy and, in general, in the human mind. This is true largely because human beings often want a forecast of events that will occur.

Logical reasoning allows one to predict inevitable consequences of actions and situations and therefore gives useful information about future events. Induction permits the association of a cause with consequences, a fundamental notion for every forecast of future time.

The Bible gives us a picture of the coming events as well as the scenario of the future. The outcome of man rebelion against God, and the reward of those who overcome the world. The Bible is the map of the future, the right compass which direct us to the right path of road to travel.

The things you do today determines the future, as the saying goes:

Watch your thought, they becomes words
Watch your words, they becomes actions
Watch your actions, they becomes habits
Watch your habits, if not altered, they will become your destiny and future.

Well, 90% of future events can be predicted just using logic.
cause and effect is obvious. If you rob a bank, will you get caught? Probably 75% likely. You would have to destroy evidence like your car. Probably avoid security camera's, Definitely not go to that bank branch again. ETC... you can predict if you project your circumstances into the future and logically extrapolate the end result.

Psychic readings are always fun, but not always the answer. I like to say if you find a good one they will tell you things you may want to hear, while hiding information from you that they are unsure of. They can tell you what they see happening, but never can they tell you the events leading to a situation. Just think of it as cause and effect. They can tell you the effect, but never the cause. I forget the scripture in the bible that says something along the lines of "I make fools out of gypsies (or prophets)". Something like that probably is --> Gods intervention.
The events you lead in life some will say are what God has in store for you. You may have heard the saying "Things happen for a reason". Possibly God preparing you for the next phase of life.
Take it as you wish. Its best to sit, but not sit too much. Go out and do your thang and what is right for you will happen, or simply go out there and make it happen.

I have a time machine. It's not quite finished; right now it only goes into the future, at normal speed.

Send me $5,000,000 and I'll tell you what happens next year. You'll get the message on 3/14/08.

A psychic but they are hardly ever accurate they only do it for the money. That's really though you should just play every day as is and hope for the best.

yes, there is means to the madness, a pattern as to where "its" all going. the phenomenon people sometimes casually refer to as "flow". what do we know to begin with? why is friday night drink it up? why is saturday morning hung over? why is sunday a special drive closer to the speed limit? learn to sense flow. patterns and premonitions will occur to you. that what i think.
