Most people assume that only teenagers or adolescents use drugs as a way to experiment, please the demands of their friends, or simply to rebel against their parents. But the reality of it is that when experimenting teens don't break their addictions in their youth, they become long time adult users.

No, drug use is simply not a "problem of youth".

Firstly, are drugs necessarily a problem in the first place (i.e. recreation / use vs abuse). Secondly, even if drugs are always a problem (which they aren't), where is the evidence to say that more young people than older people use drugs? Thirdly, the people who really do have drug problems (i.e. multiple drug convictions, robbery to support their habit, drug induced mental problems) usually aren't teenagers.

Drugs, when they are a problem, are a problem across all ages.
