Sure! Get on the net and hire a patent search attorney and have him search the world over to assure your product or part hasn't been made then write the patent office with your idea category and necessary paperwork to apply for either a patent or copy write. Just be prepared to have a few thousand dollars for the patent search by your attorney.

Go to ATV message boards and pay them to advertise.
Talk to guys like me who sell this stuff and see if i will sell it.
Talk to parts Unlimited, Tucker rocky, orient express, WPS, etc and have it listed in their catalogues so that all dealers can sell if for you. (not easy)
Sell it to an existing manufacturer of parts that are similar who are already in the catalogues.
find finalcial support and start your own advertising campain. 1 item is usually not enough. sub-contract the manufacturing or other products that are used all the time.

Cycle trader.com/ Cycle trader magazine...if in your area...
they also might have a "Bargin trader" like a "peny saver"
Get your product with pictures out to the public where it can be seen along side the ATV's it's for.
Best wishes!

If you want to advertise for free, try Craiglist.com- If you need help with wording a slogan or something, e-mail me and I'll lend a hand and not charge you an arm and a leg like an ad agency.

Search the internet for the sites that help independent inventors. There are way too many to list here. Pick one carefully...
