I'm not sure what an idea refund is.
Since you've posted this is the Canadian tax area, I would suggest you go to the CRA Website. It should be fully operational tomorrow (per the news release on their site). If you have "My Account", you should be able to check the status of your refund yourself.
http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/eservices/tax/individuals/myaccount/vrtltour/menu-e.html
If you haven't set it up, call 1-800-959-8281.
Remember they've been down for a week, and haven't been able to process any returns during that time, so there may be a bit of a backlog.

As soon as Computer straighten, repair, by the 15nth of march, You will be getting refund back soon i suppose. Why don't you call Revenue Canada and find out, keep your copy of Tax 2006 ,and rest of the years Tax copies, due to braking up Computers. If you straight sent it to the Revenue Canada mail, then you got to wait, untill government check. Always you can find out by giving all your information, and when you elligible of your refunds.

CRA went back up yesterday. I Efiled mine just before they went down and had my refund direct deposited. it took 9 buisness days. In the mail it will be up to 6 weeks and direct deposit should be within 2...keep in mind the systems were down for 9 days and could cause some delay as they catch up.

if you mailed your return, it itaks 5-8 wks.
if you file electronically, it takes 3-5 wks.
this is of course assuming you don't get audited. in that case it takes a VERY long time.
