Rocky one is a classic, and Rocky two was the good 'happy ending' that one did not have. Rocky three was okay, and personally, I liked Rocky 4 (though it's very much an 80's movie with a montage and real 80's music.) I HATED Rocky 5 and haven't seen the last one....

I prefer Rocky II, although I wish they had kept the original ending. The original ending had Rocky switching back to his left handed style and knocking out Creed in the last round. That would have been better than the ridiculous double knockdown at the end.

Rocky (1) is the best with II a close second.
I have a soft spot for Rocky III, with Mr. T and Hulk Hogan.
And even Rocky IV with Ivan Drago was good in it's own campy way.
Rocky V stunk to high heaven.
I havn't seen "Rocky Balboa" yet.
And I can't WAIT to see Rocky X, Adrian's Revenge

The first Rocky is my favourite. The character Rocky itself in the first is a guy who is hardworking, humble, very dedicated, very human, ethical, and symbolises the all round good guy going through alot of struggle and winning in the end. The whole story of going through very tough times but keeping at it in order to achive your goal - and keeping it straight all through was extremely well done. I like someone who always values honesty, respect for others, is not afraid of hard work and would always be there for his loved ones and Rock Balboa is all that in this movie. The ultimate every-day kind of struggle that one can relate to. And, the fights and especially the training routines were very believable and good. All round classic.

Rocky 1 : a classice where a chance is provided to an underdog and takeout the most from it.
Rocky 3 : Where complacency makes him losse and make him think that its the end, but he is told that with hardwork he can remove the rust on him... he was no 1 and can take that position back again.

Rocky I. A classic. Stallone's actually acting at a high level!
Did you know it recieved nine Oscar nominations including Best Actor and Actress and won three including for best picture and director.

Rocky II and III, I just like them I don't know why, I know i like 3 because Mr T is Clubber Lang in that one..
