There's a guy at work, I don't know if he likes me or what but every room I'm in he'll go into. Even if he has to talk loud to someone in another room he'll just be there acting like he has to do something in the room I'm in (which of couse he doesnt). When I first started the job, I was being friendly to him cause I was new. Then one day, I didn't have enough money to buy lunch so he insisted on buying (which I payed him back later cause I didn't want him thinking anything) and ever since, he's just coming around so much to the point of making me feel uncomfortable or rather annoyed. What do I do? I'm still farely new there and he's been there for a while so I don't want to cause any drama but it bothers me. I swear, everytime I go into another room, 5 seconds later, he's there or in the middle of two doors just looking at me and talking to other co-workers loudly.

I hardly talk to him. I try to look down and act real busy when he comes in the room I'm in. I definitely, should try the boyfriend thing only I told my boss (who is married and a great guy) that I was single cause that's when I was working on Valentine's Day. What if it somehow gets to that guy? It's not that big of an office place.

What you can do is when you are on a break be on your phone when he is around and "Talk" to your boyfriend and tell him that everything is fine at work and that you will pick him up after you get off of work. But do this when the other guy is around. Also just in case you might have a couple of other times just "talking" to your bf on the cell when the other guy is around and maybe he will get the message. And of course he does not know you are talking to a dead phone, And do not tell any co workers as they might tell him there was no one on the line.

Since you are new to the company, give it some time. Do your job and try to ignore him.

If that fails, look for another job.

well you should tell him that you do not feel that comfortable with him and that you would like him to stop

or you could see your supervisor and ask them for help. Because this is a form of sexual harassment

apparently- you and your coworker are getting paid to goof off. how is it that he can be in the same room with you so often? tell your boss that you need more work.

spray yourself with Raid. It killsbugs , and it sounds like he is bugging you. It won't kill him, but the smell will surely stop him from wanting to be near you.
