Pastime? It's my life! (And I know that's sad but so what?). I suppose if you start a company or something it could be productive. I'm sure there are a bunch of anal type A personlities out there just itching to make a buck off it!

I think apart from pastime it could be productive and useful,but for me it's just hiding from the people in my house,hiding from the real world and putting off my life...

I find that by browsing the internet i learn a lot of new things.
I use the internet for finding out so much.
So to me it is not just a pastime it is essential...ha ha :o)

It can be productive and informative because you can find anything you want like information about your country.And you can also ask questions of things you're having trouble with or ones that you can't find in the search in Yahoo Answers.♥♥♥♥

It has been productive for me...
I learned how to hang a ceiling fan
I learned how to take apart our toilet and put it all back together with new parts.
I learned how to manage COPD
I learned how to paint cement floors to look like stone
