100 is in the middle of the average range. The average range varies but is usually cited as being 85 to 115. So if we went SOLELY by the IQ score someone might say that a score of 111 falls into the high average range.

However, an IQ score can fluctuate over time and is affected by language, social economic status, physical health, access to an education, and membership in a minority ethnic group.

It can only be useful when talking about a very wide difference. That is, if I have a kid who scores a 55 on an intelligence test, that gives us a clue that something is wrong. But there's not much difference between someone who scores a 100 and someone who scores 111 or between someone who scores 111 and someone who scores 122.

What matters is how you use the intelligence and other gifts you have. Don't worry so much about what it means just study, read, go out and experience as much as you can, and be happy.

IQ is not a term relative to age or grade. The Intelligence test takes into account the age of the answerer.

the average iq doesn't change until you hit 16, most kids under 16 have an iq between 85-95 is average, if you have above 100 you are gifted, and 140+ is genius.Below 80 is usually special ed.. and below 60 is mental retardnation. my mom is a special ed teacher so i just asked her! she teaches 6th grade...so close enough

Your IQ supposedly in no way alterations on your lifetime (except you have head trauma or something.) a hundred and twenty is slightly above universal score. although, a human can't be defined via a huge determination, and thanks to this the IQ try has no actual magnitude anymore.
