I used to feel the same way. Then this happened to me.

Several years ago I had an unusual experience concerning an uncle, a distant relative who lived over a thousand miles away.

While driving my car I suddenly felt the unmistakable presence of this relative that I hardly even knew. He was more like someone I had heard about than someone I knew. It was very strange; it felt as though I was momentarily lifted right out of my physical body. I seemed to be suspended somehow beyond space and time, bathed in a love so intense It felt like I could have just disappear into it at any moment if It would have let me. It only lasted for a few seconds, but it seemed to last forever at the same time. I realize how crazy this must sound. The experience was so strong that at first I was afraid I was loosing my grip on reality. I finally managed to chalk it up to an over active imagination.

Three days later I got a call from my aunt telling me that this uncle we are talking about had gone into a coma and died the day I had the experience. It felt like ice water had been poured down my back when she told me this. I had lost any real ideas of God or faith and had become somewhat of an atheist. Needless to say this experience caused me to rethink some of the conclusions I had come to.

I feel blessed to now understand that even in our darkest confusion something loves us so much that it went out of its way to assist me and bring me back to a state of absolute certainty about Gods love for us.
During the experience it seemed like there was a vast amount of information that I was somehow allowed access to. One thing that I came away from this experience understanding beyond any shadow of a doubt was that any Idea that God is unhappy with us or would judge or allow us to be punished for any reason is simply impossible.

I can’t explain the love I felt with words. They simply don’t make words big enough or complete enough to do this. The only way I can begin to convey this love to you is to say that there was simply nothing else there. Nothing but love. No hint of judgment, no displeasure of any sort. It is as though God sees us as being as perfect as we were the day we were created. It is only in our confused idea of ourselves that we seem to have changed.

I hope this is of some help to you. Good luck. Love and blessings.

Your brother don

Can you breath the air? Can you see the sky or the flowers out in the gardens? Can you feel the water if you have a shower?
Are you able to use words to communicate?
Do you have people who love you?
Do you have the capability to make decisions?
You are constantly surrounded by GOD`S love.

The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely or unhappy is to go outside, somewhere where they can be quiet, alone with the heavens, nature and God. Because only then does one feel that all is as it should be and that God wishes to see people happy, amidst the simple beauty of nature.

Stop looking for external reassurances. You will merely go on looking for others to justify your existance and give you validity - a crutch or walking stick. Now it's God - or some congregation of shared beliefs. Next it's a lover. Dependance always cripples, and leads to disappointments. No relationship is sound while we feel dependant on it. So let go of the need for a validating parent or sibling; examine yourself and see your own worth. Growing up entails taking responsibility for yourself. Only then can we be capable of a true relationship - and by taking responsibility for yourself you will learn to value yourself, so you are. You might simply go into the garden and recognise the value of all the things in the universe, simply for themselves. That sense of community is true spirituality, I think. Then you can see your own value, as one of the individual and unique items that make the whole. Good luck

Hello, it's me again.

God loves you so much that he gave his only son (Jesus) who out of love for you was wrongfully tortured and nailed to a cross to die for the sins that you have committed or will commit in the future. Do you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior? If not, simply talk to him like you would talk to a friend and ask him to forgive you of your sins and to come into your life and give you a new outlook on life. God loves you so much that he has counted the very hairs on your head. Do you know of anyone else who knows how many hairs are on your head? God has even placed angels in charge of you to protect you. That means a 24/7 bodyguard. God even put into your heart the ability to know right from wrong so that you could avoid making mistakes.

Lastly, God has sent me to go on line to Yahoo Answers to find your question so I could cheer you up. How about that?

When you feel all alone, remember that God promised that he would never leave you or forsake you. How many people do you know have made that promise to you? Only God.

I suggest that you take a moment after reading this to just talk to God and ask him to give you a peace that surpasses all understanding. He will come to you if you allow him.

Remember the poem,"Footprints In The Sand."

Cheer up. You are more loved than you could ever know.

In addition to the second answerer's answer, you can know God loves you because of this: "For God so loved the WORLD that He gave His only begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life." What this means is that if we look back on all the things we've done wrong . . .all the times we've cursed, lusted, sought revenge, dishonored our parents, lusted after somebody, lied, etc . . .if we look back on all that (sin) and confess it to God, asking forgiveness, He is quick to forgive us. If you acknowledge that Jesus Christ died on the cross to redeem you of those sins so that you could have a life with God, He'll forgive you when other people may not and wipe the slate clean. In God's eyes, you never did any of those things. My wife and I will pray that you find the happiness you're looking for. Hopefully it will be in Christ Jesus. Smile at all He has blessed you with-friends, family, life.

The fact that you're alive and kicking is an evidence that God loves you. Everyone has a purpose, if you dont agree with me, just think of less fortunate people around the world who have no access to a good life. While here we are we can even access in the web.

For that try to love others. What you do is natural but can a tree eat its fruit or a cow cannot use its milk. For that appreciation some help is required. Somebody has to be there to eat the fruit and appreciate the tree. Somebody has to milk the cow and drink it to appreciate the sweetness and goodness of the cow. Likewise we have to love others so that can also reciprocate and we may feel being loved.

That is a difficult question to answer because We would need to know WHICH god you are trying to be loved by. Hindu? Buddist? Pagan? Catholic? Jewish? Protestant? To seriously answer your question Pick which ever religion you are and go to see a priest, clergy and talk to them. Ask lots of questions and be open and honest with them. Tell them your frustration and lack of faith. Maybe they can help and explain things real well.

Make a list of all the things that are positive in your life(it can be certain people, things, etc.). You'll realize that you are truly blessed and that God does love you.

Listen, you have to allow yourself the feeling that will come over you. Do you have a vice you would want to get rid of? Try this prayer: "I rebuke this thought in the name of Jesus Christ." And, like I said, you must allow the feeling to come to you.
