K, currently me and my boyfriend are using condoms.
I'll be going on the pill soon.
He said his last girlfriend was on the pill and they didnt use condoms (they both did std testing and were clean),
but I heard the pill is 99% effective if used correctly...

Is it ok if I don't tell my boyfriend I'm on the pill so we can continue using condoms and be extra safe?

You must bear in mind that no form of contraception is 100% safe. Both pills and condom have high percentage about 99 % effectivess but like you said if used correctly. I mean is better for you to not to tell him you are on pill cause if you forgot to take a pill it disrupts the whole cycle ritght and that would be risky. It doesn't matter if you lied to him about this cause if anything happens you are the one who can get pregnant and get STDs. Better be sorry than safe.

Just tell him the truth; by using both the condom and the pill, you are that much more protected from getting pregnant, plus protected from any STD's that don't show up right away.

And the truth will make your relationship stronger. If he doesn't want to use the condom, find someone who will.

Go for condom only. If your boy friend is not interested to use condom than you use female condom.
