Depends on how serious is your case. I've been having adult acne & tried many ways. The dermatologist told me the best way is to do laser peeling but since my case is not too serious, I should let the scars fade away overtime.
Over the last two years, I've tried the dermabrasion treatment in the beauty parlor and it really worked well. Results are obvious after you tried it for the 1st time. The machine is safe and it just makes the skin feel dry but no obvious harm done to the skin like what people said about laser surgery which will leave some "burnt marks" that will peel off later. Sunscreen is required to protect your skin after treatment because the machine literally "peels" deadskins on the outer layer.
At home, I would use Avene's AHA/BHA lotion which is designed for sensitive skin that also helps a lot to clear the blocked pores & lighten the scars, but without irrations/allergies. For me, I would see a much clearer complexion after using it for a few days.

To get rid of acne don't pop or pick at it! That's where acne scars come in! To get rid of acne use benzoyl peroxide. It helps a lot! Remember these things don't happen overnight so sometimes it just takes a few days! Good Luck! =)

It depends on the type of scarring you have. Its its red patches where the acne was this will fade over time. If you have indentations in the skin, then this will need medical treatment such as laser treatment or dermabraison. Try to reduce new outbreaks by washing your face twice a day, or by using a treatment.

To clear the acne on face, use benzoyl peroxide. After the problem is solved go for a few sittings of glycolic peels.
