Is Dumbledore's brother Aberforth the barman in The Hogs Head? 'Cause listen to this :
"The barman sidled tward them out of a back room. He was a grumpy-looking old man with a great deal of long gray hair and beard. He was tall and thin and looked vaguely familiar to Harry."
That was from Order of the Phoenix, at the first meeting of the DA.

Why would he look familiar?
I think that was one of those things that JKR just slips in, and you usually don't notice, but it ends up beeing important.

I heard that Aberforth is gonna be an important character in the last book.

What d'you think? Am I on to something, or am I just extremely bored?

WOW, good observation. I think you might be on to something, especially now that Dumbledore himself is dead. I think his brother might have an important role to play in guiding Harry and the gang.
I also think that he might be the barman - for what other reason would Dumbledore visit the Hogs Head when he could very well go to the Three Broomsticks.

I cant wait for the seventh book!

I think so and in another book Dumbledoor says something along the lines of someone at the Hogs Head giving him a warning. I also don't think it was a coincidence that he met Trewlaney at the Hogs Head for the interview. I

um...doubt it. i think aberforth died in some battle long ago. if he's important in the last book; its either

1) im wrong & thinking about someone else

or

2) he is dead & its by the photos & aberforth photo-op moves around the frames to help out...much like DD will have to do from now on

Wow I never noticed that!!!

And he would be grumpy seeing as he has been upstaged by his brother for so many years of his life.(even though he supposedly isn't as good as Dumbledore)

I'd had the same feeling myself and he is there for a reason that only Rowling knows.
