There have been several times that I saw what seemed to look like either small sparkling lights all around me, or big pieces of glitter. has anyone ever had anything like this happen to them,or has anyone heard of it .

Get your eyes checked and tell the optpmitirst about this. If theree is nothing wrong with your eyes, see your doctor, something is not right and you need to find out what it is.
Don't wast time asking people on Y/A, you will get all kinds of useless advise, you need to find out what is going on.

This thing I think normally happens when someone change thier major body position especially from sitting (in a long time) to standing. It happens to me sometime. It may happens when someone are tired.. Seems like your blood flows did nor reach you brain in an appropriate amount.. Maybe involve with your fitness level.. You should excercise a lot. Gain you fitness level... I did some excercise lately such as jogging.. It's improving... You should do too...

I am more inclined to think what you see are spirits. However, I am not a parapsychologist, but a doctor, criminal investigator, and witch.
I once had a patient who described similar things to what you say happens to you. The man was predisposed as a medium, and no matter where he went, he was attracting spirits who wanted to communicate. I was not a witch at that time, but having worked with psychics in the solution of some crimes, I became a believer.
I cannot say that what you see are spirits. But I suggest you examine that possiblity and if my suspicions are correct, do something about finding out what they want from you.

Hey! I want answers too. I see them too. Once I saw a bunch of them dancing just over my head and then vanishing. I see them off and on around my children. I dont get migraines, my eyesight is perfect and no BP issues either.

i get it when doing squats. It is from a headrush(getting up too fast) or rubbing your eyes. Maybe u need to eat some more sugar, your blood pressure could do it.

its just an effect of low blood pressure, and possibly low blood sugar levels to meaning not having enough to eat.i get it sometimes too, eg laying down for awhile and getting up too quickly
its not anything to worry about and if you are worried see your doctor

This is called the glory of God, it will happen in a church, the glory of God will come in the church and glitter like flakes will start fallinmg from the sky and people will be glitterfied, is what it looks like, another sign of God was a cloud that comes into the church. I have heard they are not big flakes though.
