Best song in the world, and why?

My *favorite* song ever is Sweet Home Alabama (Lynyrd Skynyrd), but I'd have to say the BEST SONG IN THE WORLD is their Free Bird. Simply because, for one, NOBODY doesn't know that song - whether they love it or hate it. Second, find the live version from 1976, from the album "One More From the Road" - listen to it with headphones on and pay attention to the details in the guitar solo in the second half.... it's absolutely amazing.

for meaning - wong fei hung theme instrumental- because it has a very sacred song in the martial arts community (I'm a martial artist) and it is a great honor to have it played while you preform

for intensity- i dont know - because I've only heard the song a couple times but I cant get it out of my head and it has no lyrics so i cant search for it. Its like a trancey techno song. If anyone knows anything about that I'd appriciate somebody answering my question on the main music page

Come here boy by Imogen heap coz thats what i fell in love too. Im never quite sure if the all lyrics are appropriate but god that woman has got some voice. It still gets to me..

everyones opinion is different but i dont care! i think rock music rocks because it actually has a beat and meaning to the lyrics rather than hip hop, rnb etc i like helena - my chemical romance, highway to hell - ACDC, hear you me - jimmy eat world (not so much rock but a good song!), angel - stabbing westwood, looking through glass - stonesour and thats it! i like them because they have meaning to the words and they have a unique tune and beat and a steady rhythm and they're hard to forgot because they can remind of things that've happened to you as well

I love a lot of songs which i repeated hear to..still i love songs by maynard -both the band APC and TooL
in it..the song, three libras..its quite emotional..n a lovely one :)
