i'll just give you a list and since most of the things are in close proximity of each other you might get to see tham all in one day
Let's say you start you trip at Central Station , and move down to City Hall Square, you'll have Tivoli amusement park close by, Glyptoteket and Pedestrian zone - Strøget. Strøget can take you down to Kongens Nytorv ( national theatre is close by) and then Nyhavn. Close by you'll have Christansborg - the houses of parliament, The Military museum, National Museum, a couple of interesting churches, Børsen (the stock exchange), Amelienborg (queens residence), further along you will get to Castellet, the citadel - and the statue of Little mermaid is close by , lets say you are heading back and take down bredgade - that is a broad street filled with antique shops, galleries and auction houses, you would have the industrial museum with excellent collection of danish furniture, you're getting back to Strøget and you have the obligatory Round tower - great view ... so you're heading back towards Nørreport st now... and there you'd have State museum of art, Rosenborg castle (royal jewels), Cinemateket and botanical garden, there you made almost a full circle there (it's easier with a map). Remember on wednesdays most of the museum and galleries have free admition. You might want to check Louisiana - museum of modern art, it's a bit further away but you cen get there by train, and a beautiful town called Roskilde - it was the capitol of Denmark in the middleages before Copehagen was even built and it is also a home to one of the largest music festivals in this part of the world. Copenhagen has an excellent transportation network (trains, buses and metro) so you can get from place to place in no time, take a map with you (every hotel and station has it). When it come to night life - you can't go wrong - Young people do know how to have fun in this city.

well it really depends on what you like to do. I love Glyptoteket which have loads of Greek art, if you don't like that at least go there for the palm tree garden and have a tea.
You have to go to Tivoli which is a really old amusement park (new stuff too though) but the ongoing theme of the place is H.C Andersen.
The you gotta go to Rundetorn, which is a round tower a bit like the shape of the tower in Pisa but up strait. there you can see all over Copenhagen. Pretty cool
Go see the little mermaid, its a nice walk along the river from Nyhavn (an old harbour, very pricey to eat and drink there)
As for nightlife you have to go to Lise's Butik or Mexi bar. Two cheap cocktail places boasting with atmosphere.
And do a Canal Rudfart, its a boat that takes you though Copenhagen's Chanels.

Have fun

U must go to Strøget,to shop till u drop.Lotsa things to see in that area itself. As some of the roads are closed to vehicles, u are free to roam around a lil by foot.At nite, u can always go to Tivoli,an amusement park which is rather popular.A must is always Nyhavn,a popular drinking spot , wer u can also get a boat ride around copenhagen.A favorite spot for tourists is also the "Den lille Havfrue",for some reason ppl like to touch the **** of that bronze statue for good luck..lol..U can check the sites below for more info.Have fun!Welcome to Scandivania. :)
