The seasons in ALL of the Southern Hemisphere are the exact opposite of the Northern Hemisphere. Summer is Winter, Fall is Spring, etc. With the exception of Fall, which is actually called Autumn everywhere outside the US.

1 November to February 28/29 Summer
1 March to 31 May - Autumn
1 June to 31 August - Winter
1 September to 30 October - Spring.
These are the conventional seasons. Much of the state has no definite seasons. In the north there is "The Wet" and "The Dry" which begin and end when it starts or stops raining.
Aboriginal people in some parts of northern Australia recognised 8 or more seasons, depending on the times certain plants came to fruit or when animal migrations happened.
