Aprat from the obvious ones, which I wont mention in case kids are reading this.For me, I remember looking in the speakers of the stereo to see if I could see the people singing, and bizaarley, I remember being shocked to realise that all police cars were just normal cars painted to look that way

when younger i thought that when you got an Indian take away that the staff were full red Indians with the feathers on, too many cowboy films with my grandad

That all people were treated equally, then reality kicked in. There's a lot of stuff that was going on in the world around me that I just never put together until my teenage years.

That being grown up you would live in a perfect world with perfect harmony and love. A bed of roses, I guess. Today I would like to see that bed, physically.

I remember a mate in Mayo once told me how surprised he was when he started seeing his first girlfriend and he found out that girls actually fart !

That parents who you thought new what they were doing truned out to be fools and the police supposidly good beat up hipies trying to stop weapon sales to dictators or attacking people trying to protect their jobs.

I always believed that i could be a fairy, every birthday i would wish that i could be one when blowing out my candles on my birthday cake.
I must of wasted loads of wishes.
I am sure most little girls wanted to be fairys, with their little sparkling wings, and wand.
I think that i wanted to be a fairy as their dresses were so pretty and i would be able to fly.

Discovering that it was not true that spiders don't walk on soft things (my mothers way of stopping me being afraid of spiders in the bedroom)

That father christmas seems to have affection to kids in a real nasty way, sitting in hes knee, gets candy etc..

lol lol i also used to think there was tiny people in the radio singing... hehe
i also used to think that kissing was not "allowed" cos my parents gave me a very conservativve life lol
i used to think that when you 'fire' someone from a job, u got to burn them in a blazing fire... never questioned it though...wierd..
