it seems that i have a very small love song selection, it's for a birthday present, and she asked for mix CD's. so i need some suggestions for some good love songs. she is just a friend, so nothing suggesting that i like her would be great. thank you for your help

In my opinion, bands from the 80s and such have great love songs. The modern day love songs are just pathetic.

Some of these are soft and sweet more than romantic, but they're great anyway. BTW if she's asking for a romantic CD mix, then she wants to be more than just friends.
