Only crazy people would be willing to conform to the culture in which we live today. The truly sane are the individuals who refuse to follow the status quo and instead, live the lives they want to live.
Mentally stable people handle the stresses of non-conformity better and as a result become the impetus for change, leading society into its next stage of evolution. Crazy people require something to hold on to, otherwise they will crumble underneath the weight of their insanity.
Crazy people require external markers proving their "normalcy". Mentally stable people know they are sane and require no such thing, providing them more freedom to change the world in which they live for the better.
Mentally stable people can lead successful and healthy lives, finding true happiness by following their heart. Crazy people remain unfulfilled, instead driven to succeed according to societal norms for fear that if they do not they will be labeled a failure and their insanity will become obvious.
Mentally stable people do not care what other people think, crazy people worry about it all the time for fear that someone will discover they are crazy.
Mentally stable people live their lives, crazy people watch their lives go by.

Crazy is a pejorative term these days.
If you mean people who suffer from mental illness, some have problems holding a steady job, getting along with others, managing their money, taking their meds as prescribed. . . .
