Mrs. Nutter- kindergarten, Jackman Road School, MI. My son had her for kindergarten, too! He went on to have Mrs. Brunt, my 3rd grade teacher. Small towns.

Yes I do remember the first teacher I ever met. I'm just not sure how to spell her last name but I do remember that she was really nice and I think of her often.

Yes I do. Teachers have a most thankless job, they don't ever get to see the real fruits of the labor. To see how we all turned out and what a big impact they had on us. We spend our time at school waiting to escape and they wonder if they are even getting through. Long after we have gone, they are left wondering if we did become what they thought we could be.
So, Mrs Gunn, if you are out there....you were significant to me.

Miss Dietz. I was living with my grandparents in Vermont and started school
there. She was an awesome teacher. After 60 years I still remember her.

When i was in primary 1 and i use to cry, she gave me a big slap on the face. Probably that's why I still remember her.
