We live in the 21st Century and it's humanly impossible to stay a virgin if you are in a long-term relationship. Besides, would you buy a car if you've never test drove it?

There are many answers... but first I must point out that I don't necessarily agree with these, but they are common ones I've heard. Reasons FOR pre-marital sex...
You know what your partner is going to be like in bed before you marry them, you have the option to experiance sex with multiple partners, it allows you to have a closer relationship with someone without the commitment of marriage, you can experiance the pleasure of sex at a younger age, etc. Those area pretty much all I can think of.

the only thing that i can see as a positive is that, sex compatibility. you both assess to yourselves if you are happy in your sex life. but then you can add as for reasoning that, as of now sex has been one criteria in having a good and successful marriage. wether we agree or not, some are cheating because of unsatisfied sex. and so for a couple to prevent broken home they agree for pre -marital sex.sorry i am not pro, i hope i help in my little own way.

in response to 8=======
a used car depreciates in value
why would you look for a relationship that isnt long term?
however I am still pro for it. but I beleive a lot of time.. a good several months should be in place before something like that is decided upon. yes we live in the 21st century but our life expectancy has increased so why not wait? not till marriage but a little bit longer and instead of telling you someone you love them after knowing them for 3 days wait months if you need to imo telling someone you love them is one of the most powerfull acts that can be done and it shouldnt be taken lightely or for granted.

After reading those answers above me.....decided to write mine also.....and basically its my answer for ..."fromorto" and for "8===D"...
definitely I would drive the car before I buy ...at the same time...and I don't agree to buy/have a pant/shirt.. used by many peoples.
as far as sex is concern it is not important whether your partner is expert or not....cause it is very easy to become/make him/her expert in sex......cause sex is the only one(that what I believe) people go crazy about it.....
Look at that peoples around the glob other than where you live....in their country ..most of them having sex only after their marriage....and they live together for years and years...without cheating...without any fight/quarrel etc.
so which is better.?

sorry, i'm on the CONS side.
even if it's just a testing period, everyone is different sexually--what works on one may not work on others.
not everyone feels that sex is a must to be compatible--as long as both sides are willing to work hard at making their marriage work, there should be nothing a couple can't overcome.
sorry, i just can't give you any good reasons... it's my gut feeling...
