i am working on how to purify clothes washing detergent to become more cleaner and trying to make a product....i wonder filter paper can filter until what extend?can it filter detergent?

detergent works by making water thinner and binding dirt to it
so clean detergent passes through but not back if it picks up dirt

You can not filter detergent as detergent neat is very thick, sorry to say, you have to have substances as thin as water, and if you figure this out; You are a genius! Good Luck !

depending on the filter, probably just "Particulates", to remove detergents you will need chemical assistance in the filter.
