i feel one believes and trust friendship more then relationship it is a trust you make in friends say all about you and they say all about them self if either of them looses his faith in one other by breaking their secrets and the trust breaks and there is no friendship .for me friendship is a most precious gift and if one does not keep up the promises the friendship breaks

Friendships can last longer. There are various reasons why friendship cannot last longer. Friendship is a very dynamic reality which involves both the partners interested. Most of the time collaboration and effective communication is missing and friendships fade away. Friendship is very beautiful and delicate. Lack of understanding, lack of time, carelessness, etc. are reasons that hinder friendship to last longer.

who said that?as there r 3 sorts of thing v must have in our live whenever v r old:
1.friendship(4 passing time,chatting etc)
2.live partner(spouse)(4 caring each other)
3.money.(assets)(at least u can spend ur own money independently).
u see i put friendship in the 1st place that shows how important it's.

What are you asking from your friendship, are you putting too much stress on your friendship? Maybe you should try to make long term friendships. Or try developing reconciliation skills.

i guess it has a lot to do with human nature and our expectations. we have to learn how to love and care for someone without expecting too much....that way....the friendship becomes more meaningful. but then again, bad people will take advantage of sincere people sometimes....so we tend to put up a shield when we make friends and we feel so insecure that we choose not to trust someone too much, that's when a friendship fails.

the reason a friendship can not last longer ...is because
one side is no longer interested on keeping / maintaining
that bond....so the moment one side looses interest on
the other side ....friendship gets weaker, and time comes in
and kill it.
