He did a culture on me. Could that make my period act strange this month as far as being the same as a normal period would be?

I did not end up having a yeast infection, just an irritated skin rash.

i work in a lab, it wont make your period funny or anything it is just a way of testing for a yeast infection. it is just a swab taken from the vagina and sent to the lab for testing it should be an overnight result.

No the culture won't affect your periods, but if the yeast infection is bad enough it could cause vaginal bleeding. To be on the safe side I would recommend checking with your dr to see what they say.

usually yeast infections go away when you get your period anyway
