We've found bacteria that don't require water to live. And water being the necessity for "all" life is only true on our planet, just like it's only true on our planet that gravity is 9.8 m/s^2. It's perfectly plausible that life could evolve on another planet without water. Sentient life, even. Why do I never hear scientists discuss this?

Some of the popular science magazines have discussed this subject, speculating about other planets with temperatires that create plausible liquid conductors from substances (like methane) that aren't liquid on our planet, as well as describing some of the bacteria which live under extremely inhospitable condition on this planet, (extreme arctic cold and underwater steam holes well above boiling).

this is been speculated that different life kinds won't be carbon based yet silicon and different contributors of this team by way of fact they have 4 electrons that are able to binding and subsequently the quantity of compounds which could be shaped with those as a base is plenty greater effective. that's the foremost good judgment at the back of carbon based life. Water, each residing factor on the planet is tied to water by ability of a few ability. some life kinds can stay with out oxygen yet each little thing needs water in some way, shape or form.

You need water to maintain your life.
I doubt that these bacteria will ever evolve into much more than what they are now.
If you're planning your next vacation out there in the universe, you might want to pass on that arid planet inhabited by germs and go for something a tad more tropical and moist.

I honestly can't believe your comments. A person can go without food for a lot longer than they can go without water.
Reflect on those who go on starvation diets as a means of protest.
As long as they have water they can live for a considerable amount of time.
Humans are not bacteria. Without fluids to replenish us we die, far sooner than the withdrawal of food.

What bacteria?
Why not say it is possible for hobbits to rule part of the universe?
Ar you aware of ANY other planets that have life?
Or even water?
Science is not science fiction
