You know there are some with avatars with a scowl, frowned eyebrows or the weirdest looking facial expression! Is it because they look like that permanently in real life (I hope not!) or they hope to send the rest of us shaking with fear?? hahaha... Ooooh I hope I wont be seeing tons of angry looking avatars staring at me whn I check for answers! :P

But why the ugly look?
It is possible that some users really are that unattractive! Oops, sorry!
Or you could blame Yahoo for not representing the average Joe and Jane in a more presentable manner.
On the other hand, Bratz dolls and Bambi boys are well represented! Yuck!

because it rather is the internet, the only 'authentic' first impact you get is from an avatar. needless to say it rather is loopy to decide all of us in this foundation, yet as we initially have not have been given the rest, i assume sub consciously, confident it might. some people actual think of i'm a balding 70 year previous guy!! There are a pair of clientele who use a swastika (no longer the stable version), I judged them at present.

That is what they want it is personal choice what you use for an avatar. You can even change your avatar from day to day depending on your mood. I don't think they are trying to frighten us I just think they are showing their individuality which is a great thing it would be a real boring world if we were all alike don't you think

It's quite possible that these people you are describing have some sort of personality quirk. They like to look threatening and menacing because they believe it gives them a certain amount of control.
They played with too many monster toys when they were growing up.
