if ure parents had asked you before naming you -----what would you have chosen?
( i love my name......but i find some friends of mine hate theirs....and its surprising)

I don't hate it but I might have asked for something else.
Because growing up people would always sing:
"The sailor said Brandy, your a fine girl what a good wife you would be".
Or
"I really miss you Brandy, even though your gone away" than they would follow this up by saying something like. "You know this song is written about his dog"
Oh and I was a bartender and when I would tell people my name they say stuff like "Oh did your mom know your were going to be a bartender" or "Wow, your mom must have really been knocking them back and named you after her favorite alcohol". How stupid and insulting is that.

confident, it rather is totally unique. i've got basically met 2 people in my entire existence that have been named like me. One became a guy(who spelled it with an "o") and the different a woman offspring(who spelled it with an "ie"). My center call is likewise unique - I thank my mum and dad for taking the time to compliment some thing distinctive. My sister additionally has a special call - we are so fortunate! i'm so happy i'm no longer a Jenny,Becky,Mary,Hannah,Susan,Taylor,etc...

I like the meaning of my name. Its very profound. I am an Indian but have given my daughter a Russian name cos it sounded good. Now she finds it too unique & has not met another person with this name! She says it attracts too much attention especially from teachers who never forget her !

I like my name but dont love it......I dont know what I would have chosen though they were going to name me Casey but settled on Jenny so Im glad for that

I like my name...it's okay but it's not the best...in my language, it is , but in english, it doesn't MEAN anything so i often find it a bit annoying cos some ppl DO make fun of it, as they haven't heard of it before.

I like my name, Jason.
But I think I might have liked to have an ****-kicking manly name like Alexander, or maybe Thanatos.
Then again, it'd be fun if my name was Mypenis.

I love the name my parents gave me it means to sing out loud (Chantal)

when i was little kids used to make fun of my name cause i was always correcting them, but I have always loved my name. i just hate for it to be said wrong, its not even that hard of a name.
So i would have picked my name. NIEVA
